A Forgotten Chapter in Public Health History

This presentation is the culmination of the 2025 Dean's Graduate Summer Archival Research Fellowship at Cornell's College of Human Ecology. The fellowship funds one graduate student each summer to conduct research in Cornell's Rare and Manuscript Collections, bringing perspectives of the past to issues facing us today. My research focuses on a public health initiatives that delivered practical disease prevention methods to rural communities in New York State and beyond from 1900–1920.
